This product is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional, as it offers protection for the engine and expensive rear hatch glass from external damage. Originally created by Honda for the NSX-R or NSX-S models, this maintenance lid is a rare Japan Only Product that can only be applied to Coupe NSX models. The NA1 installation kit includes a maintenance lid, two hinges, and an NA1 bracket to accommodate the NA1 NSX-R resistor for fuel injection, while the NA2 installation kit includes a maintenance lid, two hinges, and an NA2 bracket.
