Type SSports Seat
Handcrafted in Japan. A precision tribute to the Type S legacy.
Dry Carbon Kevlar • Honda Master Data Fabrics
Construction
Prepreg Carbon Kevlar.
Autoclave Cured.
The core of the Type S seat is a full Dry Carbon Kevlar shell. Unlike standard fiberglass (FRP), this shell is manufactured using prepreg fibers cured in an autoclave under immense heat and pressure.
This Formula 1-grade process eliminates imperfections and air pockets, resulting in a shell that is significantly lighter and more rigid than the factory original while offering superior impact resistance thanks to the Kevlar weave.

Performance Agility
Minimal resin content ensures the lowest possible weight. Reducing “sprung weight” within the cabin directly translates to improved vehicle dynamics and throttle response.
Structural Safety
The uniform weave pattern provides unmatched stiffness. In high-performance driving, this rigidity ensures the driver remains perfectly centered without shell flex.
Comfort & Material Origin
Custom Japanese Urethane
We commission custom-ordered urethane foam engineered to match the exact density of the original Type S seats. Sourced from a premier Japanese manufacturer, it provides ergonomic support for both spirited driving and grand touring.
Honda Master Data Fabrics
Authenticity is paramount. We use original NSX Type S fabrics sourced directly based on Honda’s archived master data. These materials are identical in weave, color, and durability to the 1990s originals.
