LHD Short Shift System
NA1 NSX-R Architecture / Mono-Block Steel
Abstract
The MITA Short Shift Lever is a mono-block re-engineering of the NA1 NSX-R RHD component, specifically optimized for Left-Hand Drive (LHD) configurations. By reducing the vertical axis height, the throw distance is minimized, resulting in high-precision gear engagement and a direct mechanical interface.
Increased shift resistance is a characteristic of this geometry. Not recommended for users prioritizing light-action shifting.

Performance Matrix
01. Throw Reduction
Decreased shaft travel for rapid gear synchronization.
02. Structural Integrity
Mono-block construction eliminates the failure points of OEM two-piece designs.
03. Spatial Clearance
Optimized hand-to-console ergonomics for aggressive driving positions.
04. Visual Profile
Lowered center-stack aesthetic, matching NSX-R interior specifications.
Installation Protocol
Check connection to shift linkage. Some tolerance adjustments may be required due to factory variances in the linkage assembly.
If resistance is encountered, lightly remove the dull finish from the connecting part using a precision sanding tool until the part glides onto the linkage.
Verify fitment. The connection should be secure and snug without requiring excessive force.
