Rebuilding Comfort with MITA S2000 Bottom Cushions

90 vs. 62 Hardness
OEM S2000 cushions were originally made with a two-piece foam structure rated at 62 hardness. This construction was comfortable on day one, but over decades of use, the material weakens and loses support. The MITA S2000 Bottom Cushion uses a single-piece 90 hardness construction, which is significantly denser and more supportive than factory. An upgrade like this provides functional improvement for long-term ownership.
What’s Included and Installation
The MITA Motorsports S2000 Bottom Cushion includes two direct-fit reproductions compatible with all 2000 – 2009 Honda S2000 seats. Each cushion features a side-adjacent design, allowing it to be used on either the driver or passenger side.
Upholstery covers, mounting hardware, and additional installation components are not included.
Installation requires reupholstery and should be performed by a qualified professional. We strongly recommend referring to the official Honda service manual and/or parts diagram to ensure correct fitment and integration with OEM seat frames.
